Gaston VEDEL is an Attorney-at-law, registered at the Paris Bar, partner and manager of BDL-IP LEGAL, a multi-professional firm of attorneys-at-law and of patent and trademark-attorneys.

Gaston began his career as Attorney-at-law in the IP litigation department of the Bird & Bird law firm, in Paris. He joined Cabinet Beau de Loménie in 2012 and participated in the development of the firm’s contractual and litigation activities, in close collaboration with its patent and trademark-attorneys.

Gaston has developed a recognized expertise in intellectual property law, as well as in unfair competition. He assists clients in both litigation and contractual matters, especially for patent-related matters. In this capacity, Gaston represents clients before French and European Courts, in particular before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He also assists clients with drafting and negotiating contracts or settlement agreements, as well as in the context of transfer or acquisition operations.

Gaston regularly participates to conferences and training courses on various topics, particularly related to intellectual property hot topics.

He is also a lecturer at the CEIPI (special training for patent-attorneys, Master of Laws and Summer School) and the author of articles and commentaries on intellectual property-related issues.

Gaston VEDEL is an active member of various professional associations, including AIPPI and APEB.
