Anne-Cécile GUEVEL is a European and French Patent Attorney based at the Lille office.

Having started her career as a research and industrialisation engineer with Cousin Composites, Anne-Cécile joined Beau de Loménie in 2005 as a Patent Attorney.

Her expertise covers the area of patents. She supports a wide variety of French and foreign companies. She advises major players in their respective industries (sporting goods articles, non-implantable medical devices), as well as local SMEs and over companies, mainly in the sectors of health (medical implants), composite materials, polymer chemistry, technical textiles, and agri-food.

Anne-Cécile’s expertise covers the acquisition of IP rights (drafting and filing of patent applications), as well as the use, protection, exploitation and enforcement thereof. She is involved in the follow-up of pre-litigation and litigation proceedings, opposition proceedings and appeals before the European Patent Office-EPO, as well as portfolio audits. She also has extensive experience with infringement and freedom-to-operate studies, as well as patent validity analyses. She advises and assists Beau de Loménie clients on all contractual aspects surrounding patents (co-ownership/licensing agreements, etc).
