Sabine BORNY has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2019. She is an associate at BDL-IP LEGAL, a multidisciplinary firm bringing together attorneys-at-law and patent and trademark attorneys.
Before joining BDL-IP LEGAL in 2025, Sabine gained significant experience in the Intellectual Property department of Simmons & Simmons in Paris. She also worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Danone, where she focused on legal matters relating to research and innovation.
Sabine advises French and international clients on a broad spectrum of intellectual property and unfair competition law, including patents, supplementary protection certificates (SPCs), trademarks, designs, and copyright. Her work spans both advisory and contentious matters.
She has extensive experience in handling complex disputes before French and European courts, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC) and appeals against INPI decisions concerning SPCs and trademark registrations. Drawing on her listening skills and her in-house experience within the research center of a leading multinational, Sabine delivers innovative and pragmatic legal strategies tailored to the technical and operational realities of her clients.
