Simon BICAÏS is a trainee Patent Attorney within the “IT, electronics and digital technologies” department in Paris.

Simon received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications from the French National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Lyon. He also holds a Ph.D. in telecommunications from the University of Grenoble Alpes, obtained after an initial 3-year experience as a research engineer in wireless communications at the CEA’s Electronics and Information Technology Laboratory. He is a graduate from the CEIPI (2024).

Simon started his career in IP in 2020 at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) as an Examiner in the Information and Communication Technologies Department. He joined the “IT, electronics and digital technologies” department of Beau de Loménie in 2022.

Simon supports French and foreign companies seeking to obtain patents, mainly assisting with the relevant procedures before the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle-INPI [French National Industrial Property Institute, ie Patent & Trademark Office], and the European Patent Office–EPO.
