Guillaume BOYER is a European and French Patent Attorney at Beau de Loménie, Lille Office.

Beginning his IP career in 2005 as a patent attorney at a Paris IP firm, Guillaume subsequently joined Beau de Loménie in 2013.

Given his expertise in optics and photonics, Guillaume focuses his work in the area of patents. In particular, he advises major industrial groups in sectors including production and distribution of sporting goods and leisure articles, civil engineering (foundations and soil technologies), and industrial equipment manufacturing (infrared gas radiators). He also provides advice and assistance to SMEs belonging to the expansive industrial network of the Hauts-de-France region.

Guillaume’s expertise covers the acquisition of IP rights (drafting and filing patent applications), as also exploitation and optimisation thereof. He is involved in the follow-up and support activities for pre-litigation and litigation proceedings, opposition proceedings and appeals before the European Patent Office-EPO, as well as portfolio audits. Additionally, he offers extensive experience in infringement and freedom-to-operate studies, and patent validity analyses.
