Laure SARLIN is a European and French Patent Attorney based in Lyon.

Beginning her IP career in 1997 as a patent attorney in a large pharmaceutical group, Laure joined Beau de Loménie, Lyon Office in 2000.

Laure provides support to French and foreign companies in developing and implementing their IP strategy, and more particularly in obtaining, optimising the value of, and defending their patents. She also undertakes freedom-to-operate studies, and is involved in the follow-up and support activities for pre-litigation and litigation proceedings. She has solid experience in proceedings before the European Patent Office-EPO, and in particular regularly in opposition and appeal proceedings.

In addition, Laure has been very involved in teaching patent law. She has notably taught within training programmes offered by: EPI / CEIPI [Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office / Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies, University of Strasbourg] for training European Professional Representatives, IMIS (French Institute of Healthcare Industry Management) and Claude Bernard University Lyon I.

Laure SARLIN is an active member of IP professional associations: Groupe Rhône-Alpes pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle-GRAPI [Rhône-Alpes Group for the Protection of Intellectual Property] and EPI.
