Graduate engineer, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique (ENSMA, 1987); doctorate in materials science (Ph.D., Oregon State University, USA, 1997); graduate of the Centre d’études internationales de la propriété intellectuelle (CEIPI) in patent law (2005)

Pierre BERBINAU worked in Singapore from 1990 to 1993 as a sales engineer in the aeronautics and armaments industries. After completing his Ph.D., he worked as a Research Associate in the Aeronautics Department of Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (London) from 1997 to 2000. He then worked in an international group as an engineering consultant in the automotive, railway, oil, building and nuclear industries. He joined Cabinet Beau de Loménie in 2005. His area of expertise is mechanics, composite materials, material sciences and metallurgy. He works in French and English and speaks and writes Chinese (Mandarin): he holds a certificate from the “Mandarin Training Center”, Taipei, Taiwan (1990).
