Pierre-Louis DÉSORMIÈRE is a European and French patent attorney. He is an engineering graduate. He holds the Masters Degree in intellectual property law from Strasbourg University (2014). He joined Cabinet Beau de Loménie in 1998 and became a Partner in 2010. Since then, he has been leading the « Material Technology, Instruments and Electrotechnics » department.
He assists French and Foreign companies of all sizes in the development and support of their industrial property strategy (innovation protection, decision-making tools, portfolio management). He acts in pre litigation and litigation procedures. His clients are in the aeronautics/space and medical industries as well as sectors like energy management and distribution, industrial process control, power electronics and electromechanical systems.
Pierre-Louis DÉSORMIÈRE is active in the ACPI (the French group of FICPI, the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys) and became its Chairman in January 2016.

2018/2019 has marked an important stage for the first branch office that Cabinet Beau de Loménie opened, in 1968, outside the Paris region: a new head, Olivier BOURA, has taken up post, new experts have joined the Patent, Trademarks and Designs practices and the office has been relocated from the Prado district to the Place Castellane (...).
