Qualified to practise as a barrister (CAPA); post-graduate degrees (DESS) in law and practice of international contracts from the University of Paris X and in industrial property law from the University of Paris II

Aurélia MARIE is head of the firm’s trademarks, designs, domain names and copyright department. She specialises in the law of distinctive signs (trademarks, company names, trade names, domain names, etc.), designs and copyright, both as regards acquiring such rights and exploiting them. She also has wide expertise in conducting due diligence reviews on portfolios of trademarks and designs, contracts, advertising law and unfair competition.

She is a French patent and trademark attorney and a European trademark attorney with a post-graduate degree (DESS) in the law and practice of international contracts from the University of Paris X (1986). She obtained her certificate of qualification to practise as a barrister in 1987 and began her career working in the agreements and intellectual property department of a large industrial group. She then practised as an attorney at law for several years in a firm specialising in intellectual property law. At the same time she obtained a post-graduate degree in industrial property law from the University of Paris II (1988). She joined Cabinet Beau de Loménie in 1993 and became a partner in 2003. She usually works in French and English.
